Housing 21 sign up to Harry’s Pledge

Housing 21 has signed up to Harry’s Pledge, showing its commitment to carers.

Vanessa Pritchard-Wilkes, Housing 21’s Head of Strategic Engagement, said: “We joined Harry’s Pledge for a number of reasons. We recognise the value and importance of good care in helping people to live as independently as possible and that means recognising the vital role of care workers and that should include appropriate renumeration and respect for caring as a carer.

“We also want to support our employees who have caring responsibilities and are always willing to speak about flexible working.

“Housing 21 truly believes that accessibility has an important role to play in society. Good accessible design is good for everyone, not just older people or those who need it.”
