North Star Housing Group sign up to Harry’s Pledge

North Star Housing Group has signed up to Harry’s Pledge, showing its commitment to carers. 

Amie Applegarth, North Star Housing Group’s Lead for Stakeholder Engagement & Staff Communications said: “We know it’s very common for those with caring responsibilities to neglect their own needs whilst they care for a loved one.

“We created a Carers Framework to ensure any North Star staff members who are caring for loved ones feel supported by the organisation.

“By signing up to Harry’s Pledge we re-emphasised our commitment to carers in the workplace, but it’s also given us three other areas to focus on, so that wherever possible we can help to improve the lives of carers.”
